Guests with the add-on were tasked to find 8 hidden flowers, each flower associated with a special letter. In Chicago we were inspired by the tulips that line Michigan Avenue each April, in Houston we wanted to highlight the fields of bluebonnets and bluebells locals drive hours to see, and in New York pay Two new pumpkins were custom designed for Chicago and New York. Art Installations Throughout Color Factory&nbsp;Our goal for this year was to build a Color Factory style Halloween experience and to develop the library of Haunted Hues resusable assets. We started with the pumpkin arch, CF’s only resusable asset from the previous year, to drive the direction of the whole room’s look and feel. The final product was a colorful and playful halloween inspired world that can be built upon for years to come. The overlay consisted of a scavenger hunt for guests, an oversized pumpkin installation in the lobbies, and Halloween themed art installations throughout Color Factory. The character development began for Huanted Hues 2023, and was refined and standardized in 2024 for Color Factory’s annual use.&nbsp; Each character represents a hue with a haunting past: Cochineal Red, used to color food, textiles, and cosmetics for centuries, this pigment is made from a tiny bug that lives on cacti. Bone Black, a pigment prepared from charred animal bones. Mummy Brown, this pigment’s main ingredient was the ground up flesh of Egyptian mummies (both human and feline). Tyrian Purple, made by collecting and destructively crushing over 10,000 murex snails. Vermillion,&nbsp;a toxic pigment made by creating a poweder from cinnabar, a mercury-rich mineral found in the veins of blazing volcanic rock. Naples Yellow, one of the oldest known pigments, naples yellow is a salt of two highly toxic metals, lead and antimony, and is therefore extremely poisonous. Paris Green, commonly used by painters in the 19th century, this extremely poisonous powder was eventually used as an insecticide, fungicide, and rat poison. Scheele’s Green, used on everything from toys and dresses to wallpaper, this 18th century pigment released toxic arsenic particles into the air. Attendees could connect with leaders in the field, network with international developers and investors, and leave an impact on the developer community in Bogotá. The event consisted of keynote speeches and discussion panels in the auditorium, and panels, workshops, and hospitality in the main pavilion for registered guests. We designed a variety of spaces for the conference’s offerings, wayfinding signage, printed collateral, as well as developing a digital footprint to show the event scheduling, maps of the venue, and links to surveys. “Looking to bring Nestlé’s new sustainability promise and Generation Regeneration message to life, we partnered to design and produce an engaging and sustainable conference experience for the 2021 Sustainable Brands Expo in San Diego. Using reusable and recyclable materials, we were able to highlight brand stories while still keeping sustainability front and center. From branded seed paper that could be planted to a living moss photo moment, we helped Nestlé launch their Generation Regeneration campaign in a big way.” I led the 3D design of the booth structure and styling as well as the graphic signage and takeaways. We used cardboard and paper as our main materials to construct the walls and embellishments of this booth, and all furniture and plants were rented from local suppliers. It provides resources for educators and parents to infuse the methods of play and autonomy in childhood education. It is an experiential approach to learning that engages students to participate through interactive self-led lessons. With this project Adriana aims to inspire curiosity and appreciation of the natural world, teach kids how to participate in active learning, and provide an easily accessible resource for educating youth. Michael and I wanted to capture the band’s psychedelic sounds in a visual digital experience all the while being a one-stop-shop for fans to get to know the band, check on tour dates, purchase merch, and stream music. We also wanted to create a place for the band to archive their past, present, and future endeavors. Click here to check it out. Landing Page Serving as a first impression for the band. The background shifts in color and shape, and the band logo ripples as the cursor moves around the page. As you scroll down, their most recent album release, Impossible Daze, is the main focus. The intention is for the website landing page to visually align with each album release, so future releases will lead to a new color story, and link to new content.
